  • What is GYROTONIC® training?
    GYROTONIC® training is a unique movement system that blends elements of yoga, swimming, dance, gymnastics and Tai Chi to create fluid, circular movements. The uniqueness of the GYROTONIC® Method is that it simultaneously stretches and strengthens the body with minimal effort, while increasing range of motion. It helps increase flexibility, overall strength, coordination and balance.
  • Do I need prior experience to start?
    Not at all! Gyrotonic® is suitable for all fitness levels, from beginners to advanced. Bernadette will customize each session to fit your abilities and goals.
  • Pilates vs GYROTONIC® Training?
    Pilates focuses on linear, controlled movements to stabilize the core, while GYROTONIC® training emphasizes fluid, circular motions through a wider range of motion. Specialized GYROTONIC® equipment allows the client to explore movement in three-dimensional planes, making it more expansive and holistic in its approach.
  • Do you have any group classes?
    We have GYROKINESIS® group classes (exercises on a stool and mat) which may have up to 4 participants. Contact Bernadette for schedule information.
  • What should I wear to my session?
    Wear comfortable, flexible clothing that allows for a full range of motion. Grip socks or bare feet are recommended.
